Circle Housing Group subsidiary Russet awarded their external insulation project to Anglian Building Products to improve the energy efficiency of their properties and thermal comfort for their residents. The 39 property pilot project was designed to enable Russet to monitor and evaluate the energy efficiency of their properties post insulation. Works involved the installation of external wall insulation, partial and full upgrades to the central heating systems, fascia, soffit, GRP canopies and top-up loft insulation. The Wetherby Building System specification called for the mechanical fixing of 80mm phenolic insulation boards to the outer walls.
