Celanese Acetate Celanese Acetate manufactures cellulose acetate products for use in diverse industries such as luxury packaging, medical, insulation and filtration. Interserve provided asbestos remediation and removal services worth around £100k per year at their Spondon site for more than 25 years before the company announced the forthcoming closure of the site in 2012. During our time working together, we had a proactive partnership; our team played a key role in the delivery of Celanese Acetate products to its customers by ensuring minimum disruption to production processes and by helping with the planning of site maintenance programmes.
