Overview Lantmäteriet is a public authority part of the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation. It maps the country, demarcates boundaries, and helps guarantee secure ownership of Sweden’s property. It also provides services for subdivisions or changes in land boundaries. Lantmäteriet manages applications for registered ownership and entry into the property register. Challenge Over the years the Lantmäteriet responsi­ bilities have grown and its stakeholder base has expanded. Lantmäteriet has over 2,000 employees and provides information to approximately 20,000 external users, from banks to farmers and general citizens.
