4 CASE STUDY – HEALTH CARE - (Brazil) • Award winning Fioscruz R&D Center conducts study in a major hospital in Rio de Janeiro to measure Odorox® reduction of bacteria defined as Colony Forming Units (CFUs) • Acceptable contamination target in the area where the study was conducted (patient recovery room) was quantified as 200 CFU • Within an hour after installation of Odorox®, CFU’s were reduced in the ambient air to below 200 and ultimately to as low as 40 following 2 weeks of use (considered statistically significant) • 2 weeks prior to Odorox® installation • 1 week prior (family party contaminates room) • 1 day prior (machine on test begins at 10:30 am) • 2 hours later • 8 hours later • 1 week later • 2 weeks after (the start of the Odorox® unit) Green Technol
