The case study details how NSFOCUS Cloud DPS mitigated a massive four-day DDoS attack reaching 399.2 Gbps against a customer in Hong Kong S.A.R. The attacks, primarily UDP floods making up over 99% of traffic, targeted the customer during peak business hours. NSFOCUS SOC experts had pre-optimized protection policies, enabling zero-second mitigation through its always-on mode. Continuous monitoring and real-time traffic analysis ensured service continuity. As a result, more than 99.8% of malicious traffic was blocked, with only minimal data reaching the client, preventing any operational disruption.
