SELECTION CRITERIA: At one plant the customer needed to eliminate pre-printed labels and print variable information labels and apply them to sheet metal. Other plants needed automatic label applicators for case labeling, while another needed pre-printed labels for drums. ID TECHNOLOGY PROPOSAL OR SOLUTION: A combination of labeling solutions was used to fill the customer’s needs at each plant. A Model ST1000 Label Applicator fitted with a Compact 32D Thermal Transfer Overprinter was chosen for the on demand barcode labels on sheet metal.
