Budd’s Farm STC Portsmouth & Havant Truck Reception Silo The purpose of this plant is to receive de-watered sewage sludge cake into the Budd’s Farm Sludge Treatment Centre from its satellite works for onward treatment. The silo is installed in a pit to enable trucks to tip as required in the quickest possible time, with the least possible spillage and odour escape. An odour tight hinged lid opens and closes on demand from the truck driver.
