Background: The Gladstone Area Water Board’s infrastructure at Boat Creek Pump Station consists of a 36ML raw water storage reservoir and pump station. In 2002 the reservoir was decommissioned and the pump station reconfigured for delivery of potable water to another reservoir using new, smaller pumps. In 2012, it became necessary to increase security of supply to customers in the northern region of the raw water network. H
