BMA - Bri(sh Medical Associa(on Mobile sea(ng system that is stored underneath the stage A mul(func(onal space in a listed neoclassical building The Bri$sh Medical Associa$on (BMA) commissioned the architectural prac2ce HOK to create a conference hall with state-of-the-art equipment and furnishings in the redeveloped BMA House, a listed neoclassical building originally designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The remodelled building respects Lutyens’ original design while providing an aArac2ve modern space that meets the needs of both tradi2onal BMA members and new genera2ons of doctors. The conference room, installed at the old library of the building, had to provide a mul2func2onal space to hold different kind of events.
