2 PagesOur involvement with Bermuda Park commenced over forty years ago and it continues today. The village and its surroundings comprise 385 acres. During this long period we have worked closely and successfully with Nuneaton and Bedworth District Council, Warwickshire County Council, Advantage West Midlands and the Arbury Estate to provide a high quality mixed-use development with extensive open space and recreation areas. When we acquired the site the village was in severe decline. In this former mining community 66% of the ninety existing houses were empty. The whole housing stock was in a very poor state of repair. Immediately Deeley undertook a comprehensive programme of refurbishment and modernisation of all the existing houses. The homes are now fully occupied, however for
