BASEMENT CONVERSION - HAGLEY ROAD, STOURBRIDGE
THE PROBLEM This domestic dwelling in Stourbridge had a brick vaulted cellar that was used mainly for storage. It was suffering from extensive damp, which resulted in an unpleasant odour making its way upstairs. The property owner wanted to utilise the damp basement for habitable accommodation, providing use as either a home office or games room. THE SOLUTION Protectahome were invited to the property to create a design that would enable the cellar to be converted into a usable space.
