BankUnited, a national bank with over $33 billion in assets, launched a multi-year digital transformation in 2019 to modernize its customer experience. Partnering with AWS ProServe and Presidio, the bank migrated datacenters to AWS and operationalized its new Backbase digital banking platform using CI/CD and Kubernetes. Presidio also helped build an advanced analytics platform with Amazon Redshift and machine learning to predict churn and enhance marketing. With managed services and SNOC support, BankUnited strengthened governance, security, and DevOps practices, enabling differentiated digital services, new revenue streams, and improved scalability across its operations.
