An automobile museum wanted to upgrade its interactive video wall, extending 20 DisplayPort 4K signals and USB touch controls far beyond the 32-foot distance limit. Partnering with Black Box, they implemented a compact 21-port DKM chassis with transmitter cards and receivers over existing fiber optic cabling, supported by redundant power supplies for fail-safe operation. This setup ensures lossless 4K video, USB 2.0 integration, and immunity to EMI/RFI interference while saving rack space. The museum also added 20 new displays, creating a modern multi-touch experience that is reliable, scalable, and ready for future innovations.
