London Borough of Islington £25,000 Public Funding May 2013 Ashmount Primary is a community school in the heart of Islington. The staff promote both independence and a strong commitment to collective responsibility in all students. Ashmount applied for several funding schemes in hopes to provide their pupils with a new playground that could also be viewed as a varied learning environment. In order to attain their funding, the school had to evidence a design that would have a positive impact on current and future pupils.
