1 PagesTHE CHALLENGE As part of a major project to centralise all its paper records, Leeds City Council converted a former transport workshop into a dedicated storage facility with the capacity to house 30,500 boxes on a 6-high racking system. In order to gain access to the boxes, particularly on the top three levels both safely and efficiently, the Council required a form of access which would meet the needs of its staff whilst requiring minimal training. THE BRIEF The main criteria was for ease of use ,as was the requirement for the access solution to take up as little space as possible when not in use.
