APDS to the Rescue when Water Site’s Pumps Fail After Storm The Problem When a major site had a drive failure leaving them without the ability to pump away storm water they turned to APDS to solve the problem. Temperature issues within the building and ventilation problems within the cubicle caused the inverter to fail leaving the site and indeed the local area vulnerable to flooding. APDS's Solution As the Environment Agency closely monitored the site, a solution had to be found within 24 hours. APDS’ rapid response team visited the site to assess the needs and to see whether the drive could be repaired quickly.
