ALIGN, the bidding joint venture (JV) of Bouygues Construction, Sir Robert McAlpine, and Volker Fitzpatrick, has chosen the BC CDE to control the flow of information from their design partners, Jacobs and Ingerop, on Phase One of the HS2 project. The ALIGN JV, together with its design partners, Jacobs and Ingerop, are responsible for the design and build of a key section of Phase One of the HS2 high-speed rail network between London and Birmingham. The 22km section will run between the Colne Valley, just outside London, and the Chilterns and includes the 3.4km- long Colne Valley Viaduct, as well as the 15.8km-long Chiltern twin-tunnels.
