Hitachi Construction Machinery used Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS and Red Hat Consulting to support its agile transformation after restructuring its Americas operations. Through the DNA project, it launched 805 commercial releases in 2023, saving 700 hours monthly with Red Hat SSO. Agile methods improved team collaboration, shortened development cycles, and enabled rapid delivery of solutions like Solution Linkage CONNECT. With cloud scalability, dealer-focused tools, and customer portals, Hitachi enhanced efficiency and responsiveness globally. The initiative is evolving into a company-wide agile model aimed at building a 300-member agile team by 2025.
