The mill was looking to increase loading pressure to flake the product more efficiently. In addition, the customer was experiencing issues with difficult blade changes leading to safety concerns. Solution Kadant recommended the AccuFlake PRO blade holder stressing the safety with easier blade changes. SteelFlexTM blades were also recommended because the mill’s rolls are in poor shape.
