A grasshopper with ?bre glass June 10 saw the o?cial re-opening of the bascule bridge at Karrebæksminde on the west coast of Zealand, Denmark. Nicknamed the "Grasshopper", this is the ?rst Danish road bridge to receive a ?breglass deck, and a connected footbridge was installed at the same time. Both structures were supplied by Fiberline Composites. The new ?breglass bridge deck from Fiberline is expected to last for many decades.
