88-188 Decorative Paint Facility Wastewater Pre-Treatment Boeing constructed a new two bay Decorative Paint Facility on their South Carolina Plant Site. The facility was designed to accommodate 777-9X and 747-8 aircraft, and can be adapted to paint any 7X7 aircraft derivative. Harris Group designed a wastewater pre-treatment system to handle a flow rate of 430,000 gallons per month. The WWPT system is designed to remove all controlled substances in the wastewater to less than or equal to 50% of permitted limits. The WWPT system is operated in batch mode and is designed to be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
