Advances in medical research augmented by emerging innovative technologies such as Gene Sequencing and Artificial Intelligence made new frontiers in treating rare forms of disease possible. Precision medicine is one of the primary beneficiaries of such advancements. Though the outcomes of precision medicine have been highly promising, it is still in the very early stages and targets only rare genetic diseases. This paper discusses the approach to enable commercially viable treatments to large populations through adoption of the supply chain for precision medicine based on our experiences and expertise working with major pharmaceutical companies.
