How Zero Trust Network Access prevents ransomware attacks
Barracuda helped prevent ransomware attacks by implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), which enforces granular access controls to minimize lateral movement within networks. By replacing traditional VPNs with ZTNA, Barracuda reduced risks from credential harvesting and unauthorized access, protecting critical systems and data from internal and external threats. This approach strengthened security protocols, limiting attacker opportunities and enhancing overall network defense, thus enabling organizations to better safeguard their environments against increasingly sophisticated ransomware attacks.
