Risk is a multi-dimensional score based on asset coverage (protections, vulnerabilities, cloud configuration, Shadow IT, sensors, deception), asset importance (role and tagged critical data such as PII, customer data, source code), and the severity of current events (vulnerabilities, real-time cloud inventory, AI-driven threat score, and MITRE ATT&CK–mapped activity). Elevate also enables risk simulation using asset risk and communication maps to model attacker lateral movement for blue- and red-team scenarios, guiding prioritization of remediation and protection.
