Fidelis Collector is an optional storage and analytics component of Fidelis Network that captures and stores indexed security metadata (the “DNA” of traffic) to speed post-breach detection, investigation, and response. It stores up to 360 days of standard and enhanced metadata (over 300 attributes plus custom tags) collected via Fidelis Network Deep Session Inspection from direct, internal, cloud, and email sensors across all ports and protocols without sampling or dropping packets. The result is fast, query-ready content and context for real-time and retrospective hunting, threat intelligence replay, security analytics, network visibility, and anomaly detection, with analysis performed in the Fidelis CommandPost console.
