Trustwave licenses AppDetectivePRO and DbProtect based on the number and type of database applications, defined as sets of running processes that represent points of attack. Each unique database is identified by IP address, port number, and database ID, with every clustered node requiring its own license. For Oracle, a license covers a SID, IP, and port combination plus each pluggable database and RAC node. Microsoft SQL Server requires a license per instance, IP, and port. MySQL, MariaDB, and Percona require one license per server. IBM Db2 LUW and z/OS each require a license per database or subsystem, while MongoDB requires a license per instance, with support limited to Enterprise Editions.
