In Q2 2024, CyberRatings.org conducted an independent test of the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, evaluating its effectiveness against the Security Service Edge (SSE) Threat Protection Methodology v2.1. The test, conducted using Amazon Web Services and a facility in Austin, Texas, assessed the platform's ability to handle TLS/SSL 1.2 and 1.3 cipher suites, block 205 exploits, detect 7,140 malware samples, and prevent 1,124 evasion techniques. The Zscaler platform demonstrated high efficacy in blocking threats, including a 100% block rate for exploits targeting major vendors like Cisco, Google, and Microsoft. The report highlighted the platform's ability to block attacks while minimizing false positives, ensuring both security and operational efficiency.
