The 2023 EMEA Customer Success Compensation Report shows that CS has become a strategic growth driver, with 95% of companies planning to maintain or expand CS teams despite economic pressures. Nearly half of organizations now give CS leaders a seat at the executive table, while 61% of teams hold revenue responsibilities tied to renewals and expansion. Digital CS adoption is still emerging, with only 33% using it, though more than half of adopters apply it to over 25% of customers. Compensation is rising across roles, with most CSMs earning under €75,000, while managers, directors, and executives see higher variable pay tied to customer outcomes.
