The SAPinsider 2024 Benchmark Report, The CIO’s 2024 Agenda for SAP, SAP S/4HANA, the Cloud and Beyond, surveyed 124 executives to identify their top priorities. For the third consecutive year, increasing process efficiency and visibility was the highest priority, selected by 67% of respondents (up slightly from 65% in 2023). Additionally, lowering IT and operations costs rose significantly as a focus, chosen by 56% compared to 47% in 2023. Nearly three-quarters (74%) of organizations plan to maintain or increase budgets for SAP projects in 2024. Key areas of investment include automation, standardization, and SAP S/4HANA migration ahead of the 2027 deadline.
