Growth in Remote Work Fuels Zero Trust Investment
Ping Identity’s Executive Survey shows that the shift to remote work has accelerated Zero Trust adoption and identity security investment. Among 1,350 executives, 82% have deployed Zero Trust, 71% plan to increase investment, and 64% report widespread MFA use—up from 38% pre-pandemic. IT teams have grown by 37% as 70% of leaders say security mainly falls on IT. Over half invested in new IAM, MFA, and SSO tools, while 46% are consolidating identity silos to improve productivity and compliance. With login failures up 25% and hybrid work persisting, executives view identity security as essential for user experience and business resilience.
