The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 server, powered by 4th Generation Intel Xeon Gold 6430 processors, significantly outperforms the Gen10 model with Intel Xeon Gold 6130 processors. Gen11 delivers up to 3.37 times higher compute performance and 1.68 times better virtualization performance. It supports DDR5 memory at 4800 MT/s with up to 8 TB capacity, compared to Gen10’s DDR4 at lower speeds and 3 TB max. Gen11 also features PCIe 5.0 slots for faster data transfer, advanced security with TPM 2.0 and Silicon Root of Trust, and enhanced management via iLO 6 and HPE GreenLake Compute Ops Management. Additionally, Gen11 processes nearly 3 times as many images per second on AI inference tasks compared to Gen10, thanks to Intel’s Advanced Matrix Extensions.
