Impressively, 95.6% of malware hid behind encryption. Each WatchGuard Firebox blocked an average of 1,177 malware threats, with IntelligentAV detections up 113% and evasive malware detections down 52%. The top malware, Zusy.255797, led 654,302 detections. Regionally, APAC accounted for 41.3% of threats. Notable threats included a SQL injection vulnerability in ATutor, highlighting the continued risk of abandoned but still-used software.
