National Cyber Security Centre Cyber Assessment Framework

The National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Assessment Framework is the United Kingdom’s framework for improving the security and resilience of network and information systems. Developed in alignment with the UK Government’s National Cyber Strategy 2022, the CAF provides a set of cybersecurity and resilience principles along with guidance on how to apply them. The framework focuses on protecting essential functions whose disruption could cause significant impact, supporting organizations in strengthening governance, identifying vulnerabilities, improving incident response, and demonstrating alignment with national cybersecurity expectations
