This SAP Automotive Consulting solution enables IDoc-based shipment notifications (SHPMNT) within the S/4HANA ASR outbound process, bridging classical LE-TRA IDoc integration and new webservice-based ASN processes. It allows dual use of IDocs and webservices, simplifies migration, and reduces implementation costs. It includes a prebuilt service, PPF-based control, flexible enhancement via BAdIs, and reuse of existing EDI mappings. Standard SAP monitoring tools (WE02, BD87) remain usable. Installation is remote and modification-free.
