VAST Data and Cisco have expanded their partnership to offer a fully integrated, turnkey AI infrastructure stack that simplifies scaling AI workloads for enterprises. This joint solution combines VAST’s AI Operating System with Cisco’s UCS (compute) and Nexus (networking) platforms to deliver a unified architecture spanning compute, storage, networking, and observability. It enables running end-to-end AI pipelines—such as retrieval-augmented generation and real-time inference—directly within the VAST AI OS on Cisco hardware. Key features include VAST InsightEngine, which accelerates vector search, data preparation, and inference workflows at the data source, and AgentEngine, which orchestrates autonomous AI agents operating on live data streams for event-driven decision-making.
