The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program, managed by CISA and FEMA, provides $1 billion to enhance cyber governance, assess risks, and build a cybersecurity workforce. Funds are available for four years, with CISA monitoring progress. Other IIJA programs, like BEAD, support cybersecurity training, while the Department of Energy and Transportation invest in securing energy infrastructure and modernizing ports. These efforts aim to strengthen national cybersecurity resilience.
