EU Cyber Resilience Act
The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is a landmark regulation designed to establish unified cybersecurity standards for digital products, including IoT devices and software, across the European Union. It requires manufacturers and developers to ensure products are secure by design, free from known vulnerabilities, and supported with regular updates. The CRA introduces certification levels—Default, Critical Class I, and Critical Class II—based on risk, and mandates compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Non-compliance may result in fines up to €15 million or 2.5% of global turnover. Verimatrix XTD solutions help organizations prepare by providing in-app protection, monitoring, and threat intelligence to meet CRA obligations.
