Zemel Road Landfill Gas to Energy Project - Smith Gardner Inc Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+G) partnered with Crowder Construction to head the multi-disciplinary engineering team for this project. S+G provided Civil Design services and integrated the deliverables from geotechnical, electrical and surveying subconsultants into a design-build construction document package. The project, which tied-in to an existing landfill gas extraction system, consists of four main components: 1) a gas treatment and pressurization facility; 2) an on-site gas transmission pipeline; 3) an electrical generation facility; and 4) an electrical distribution line and utility interconnection.
