York Millennium Bridge
York Millennium Bridge cable stayed arch structure linear, nonlinear and dynamic analysis staged construction checks Whitby Bird and Partners, (now part of Ramboll), was a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering ?rm at the leading edge of technology and innovation. Their competition-winning design for the York Millennium Bridge across the River Ouse was inspired by the spokes of a bicycle wheel and consists of an inclined arch with radially aligned cables supporting a slender box girder deck.
