WWE Enhances Production Efficiency with High Performance KVM

WWE, producing over 500 events annually for 36 million viewers, faced limitations with its outdated VGA KVM system, which had poor resolution, frequent breakdowns, and restricted scalability. To modernize, Black Box implemented a DKM 288-port matrix with 246 TXs and RXs, plus an additional 48-port switch for expanded control rooms. The solution connected 130 editing systems, 27 graphics workstations, and multiple production suites, providing zero-latency high-resolution access across hundreds of computers. The upgrade improved workflow flexibility, enabled seamless AVID and EVS integration, reduced equipment costs, and delivered transparent, reliable production control.
