WM Promus helped the University of Sussex migrate from CentOS to Red Hat Enterprise Linux to improve security, reduce risk, and prepare for Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. The project included Red Hat Ansible Automation to streamline tasks and boost engineer productivity. Over 100 redundant servers were retired, and DevOps practices were embedded through training and co-developed playbooks. The university gained a stable, secure, and compliant IT environment, cut manual work, and enhanced system reliability. WM Promus plans to support further automation and system management using Red Hat Satellite.
