Wind farm Unseburg The Danish operator European Energy A/S plans to continue operating the 18-megawatt Unseburg wind (Saxony-Anhalt) farm for at least another 20 years. The farm is home to nine Vestas V80 wind turbines and delivers a considerable yield of 36 million kilowatt hours per year. To boost operating and planning security to a maximum, the company has opted for an all-round package from Deutsche Windtechnik. In addition to 24/7 remote monitoring, including fault diagnosis, the service contract also includes regular maintenance work, upgrades and repairs, and even the exchange of large components as well as rotor blade maintenance. The contract term extends up to the wind turbines’ 20th year of operation and includes a renewal option. At least 97 percent availability is guarantee
