The expansion will eventually inundate the existing Silver Basin Reservoir, requiring construction of a replacement reservoir to continue providing operations with design, identified as the West Silver Basin Dam and Reservoir. The proposed West Silver Basin Dam and Reservoir are located higher in the watershed, west of the existing Reservoir. The new Reservoir is intended to operate similarly to the existing Reservoir, and the general location was selected for its proximity to the existing Silver Basin Reserv
