WEHI, the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, brings together leading scientists to make discoveries that improve health and longevity. For over a century, its researchers have advanced understanding of cancer, infectious and immune diseases, developmental disorders, and healthy ageing. In 2017, WEHI partnered with XENON to build a private cloud for its high‑performance computing environment, supporting about 90 bioinformaticians and biologists. The solution enabled researchers to containerize workloads, streamline experiments, and improve the efficiency of processing large‑scale research data.
