CASE STUDY Weber County (UT) Sheriff’s Office Led by Sheriff Terry Thompson, the Weber County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) protects 235,000 residents over an area of 660 square miles in northern Utah. The WCSO’s 70 sworn officers began using Lexipol’s Utah Law Enforcement Policy Manual in 2012 and added the Custody Policy Manual in 2014.
