A client needed to integrate data from 11 remote sites, connected via Automated Logic WebCTRL’s Building Automation System (BAS) using BACnet IP, into their Data Management System (DMS). The integration required converting data to Modbus TCP and involved 41 BACnet IP controllers managing nearly 4000 data points from 500-600 devices. Challenges included subnet communication issues and handling a large number of devices. The solution involved using a CAS QuickServer device and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Ultimately, the integration was successful, allowing real-time data access and insights into the client's district energy systems, thanks to Chipkin's technical and commercial support.
