Client name CWD Project name Multi-function display (MFD) Year 2011 Brief We were asked to make presentation and photographic standard representative- appearance models of our client’s forthcoming products which would be suitable for marketing/sales teams and display at trade shows. The CAD data could be modified to suit construction, and the models were to closely replicate production finishes and simulate the flat screen display with appropriate images. Solution In most cases we modify the CAD data to suit the construction of the model. The model was then constructed using a mix of CNC milled parts, SLA components and real electrical connectors where appropriate.
