www.waterpoweredtechnologies.com CASE STUDY | Guizhou Village Water Supply | China Water supplied by Papa Pumps meets community needs and increases agricultural productivity. The village is situation on the side of a hill and above a valley. Water was taken from a stream at the valley bottom and delivered a distance of 800 metres with an elevation of 60 metres for use by the village. A Supply Head of 15 metres will enable two Papa Pumps to deliver 25,000 litres of water a day to the village. The exhaust water from the pump chamber was channelled to irrigated the adjacent fields. The system was installed and will be maintained by the local community. The villagers built a supply tank and pump chamber with rendered block work. They also laid the steel Supply Pipes and mdpe delivery
