• Volvo • Go Ahead London received passenger complaints of discomfort due to high NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) on the rear seats, of under warranty vehicles. • Due to the nature of inner city transport, air flow thorough the engine compartment is limited increasing ambient temperature. • A redesign along with high temperature 55 shore A polyurethane, was used to not only cope with the increased temperature but to also solve NVH problems. • Retrospectively fitted to Go Ahead London and Lothian bus fleets.
