PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Virginia Department of Transportations (VDOT) is facilitating the rehabilitation of 92 bridges along 9,200 miles of roadway in the Salem District, which represents 12 counties in southwest VA near Roanoke. Landford Bros. is charged with repairing any compromised bridge substructures including piers and foundation by removing damaged concrete, replacing rebar and other structural support, and spray applying QUIKRETE ® Shotcrete MS – Fiber Reinforced. Once applied, Shotcrete MS - Fiber Reinforced is finished to match the contour of the surrounding concrete.
